The UnCenter: A Center for Empathy without Borders designs and leads educational, immersive labs for healthcare practitioners, educators, students, and community members to provide creative ways—through dialogue, storytelling, performance, art-making, simulation, and other uses of the imagination—to explore and assume the perspectives of others. The ultimate aim of our labs is to foster insight into other people’s lived experiences, and, as a result, deeper understanding and greater capacities for connection and care.
