I have not share my stories anywhere except with one of my professors.
The response from her was the best I could hoped for. I read her response over and over again with tears of calmness flowing down my cheeks. There is nothing like having someone listen to you and offering you a safe place to let it all out. Her loving words and wisdom made it easier to share my stories. I am grateful to have this platform to share the stories that I have never thought of sharing to others. Being a nurse brings me so much joy and helps me provide the best care I can offer. If my stories can reach just a soul, then, that soul could EMPATHIZED with that person from a different race other than hers or his. He/She will not see race but will see his/her fellow human.
